Introduction

Four Links ("we", "our", or "the app") is a word puzzle game for iPhone published by Puzzle Crown Studios. This policy explains what information the app uses, why, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

Four Links has no accounts, sign-in or servers of its own. We do not ask for your name, email address, contacts, photos or precise location.

Stored only on your device

• Game progress: levels solved, coins, daily streaks, statistics and settings
• This data stays on your iPhone (and in your own iCloud device backup, if you use it). We never receive it.

Game analytics and crash reports

To see how the game is played and to fix problems, the app uses Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics. They collect:

• Gameplay events, such as levels started and finished, hints used, the daily puzzle and which screens are opened
• App instance and installation identifiers created for this app, device model, iOS version, app version and approximate location derived from your IP address
• Crash reports and diagnostic data, such as the state of the app when a crash happened

This information is not linked to your name or contact details. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, analytics only uses identifiers once you have given consent in the app's privacy choices.

Collected by our advertising partner

The game is free because it shows ads from Google AdMob. When ads load, Google's software in the app may collect:

• Your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), only if you allow tracking
• Approximate location derived from your IP address
• Ad interactions, such as which ads were shown or tapped, and app launch and interaction information
• Diagnostic data, such as crash logs and performance information for the ad software

This data is used to show, measure and improve ads, and to prevent fraud.

How We Use Your Information

• Save your progress and settings on your device
• Understand how players use the game (for example which levels are too hard) and improve it
• Find and fix crashes and bugs
• Adjust game settings such as rewards and how often ads appear, using Firebase Remote Config
• Show ads, including optional reward videos you choose to watch
• Send optional daily-puzzle reminders, if you turn them on. These are scheduled on your device; we don't run a notification server.

Third-Party Services

Google AdMob

Four Links uses Google AdMob to display ads. Google's use of data is described at https://policies.google.com/privacy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics and Remote Config

These Google services help us measure usage, diagnose crashes and tune the game. Google's handling of this data is described at https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

Consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland)

If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, the app shows Google's consent form before any ads are requested, so you can choose whether your data may be used for personalized ads and for analytics. You can change your choice any time under Settings → Privacy settings in the app.

App Tracking Transparency (iOS)

The app asks your permission before your advertising identifier can be used to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", ads are still shown but are not personalized using that identifier. You can change this any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Data Storage and Security

• Game data is stored locally on your device
• We do not operate servers and do not store personal information
• Data collected by Google AdMob and Firebase is handled under Google's privacy policies

Children's Privacy

Four Links is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data and to object to or restrict its processing. You can:

• Change your ad consent in the app under Settings → Privacy settings (where required)
• Refuse or withdraw tracking permission in iOS Settings
• Reset your advertising identifier in iOS Settings
• Delete all game data by deleting the app
• Contact us with any privacy request

Data Retention

• Local game data remains on your device until you delete the app
• Google retains advertising data as described in its privacy policy
• Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months; crash reports for up to 90 days

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new "Last Updated" date.
